The following are four pdfs that contain photos from the listing of Fulton Ferry in the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.

Old Fulton Street 1974

Note the Waterfront Restaurant at what is now Pete’s Downtown.

Eagle Warehouse 1974

This is before the Eagle was converted for residential use. Note the western wall before additional windows were punched through.

Empire Stores north facade 1974

Note the weeds in what is now a dirt path with fencing alongside the building. Also, look for the shed in the distance, near the point where the Jay Street Connecting Railroad fanned out to deliver the coffee, sugar, tobacco, and other commodities to nearby  warehouses and factories. See this 1946 photo taken from the Brooklyn Bridge for an aerial view of what Empire Fulton Ferry State Park looked like back then!
